Spdr S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Etf V.XOP.W

Primary Symbol: XOP

The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index derived from the oil and gas exploration and production segment of a U. In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

RE:RE:RE:RE:how did the split go

RE:RE:RE:RE:how did the split goSo what was said at the AGM was that we are going to do a 10 for 1 rollback.  That would leave us with just under 2 billion shares out.  Another 10 to 1 rolback would take us down to 200 million shares out.  He may not do that second rolback.  It is not known if we will do more than the first rollback - Art said at the AGM that as long as we have liquidity, they were still considering what to do.  The conclusion I drew was that we will go back 10 for 1 and then have just under 2 billion shares out.  We will do some releases and see where our stock price settles.  From there the board of directors will figure out if we have to do any more consolidation - and if so, what more it wants to roll back at that time.  Could be 2 for 1 or up to 10 for 1 I suppose.  But Art was pretty clear I believe that this is not for us to do a 1000 for 1 total rollback. We will go 10 for 1.  And then once we see where our price settles with updates, they will figure out if we should do anything more.
