RE:RE:RE:Dividends start tomorrow?
RE:RE:RE:Dividends start tomorrow?Yeah, I don't see a relapse on the cards in Ontario. England has taken the right approach and scrapping all restrictions on July 19 - they have basically said if we don't do it now, when are we going to do it? Enough is enough,
Distribution restart is key in the short-term. Longer-term, comp sales are going to be as critical as always but it's going to be a long while before the numbers are meaningful.

I have been doing some visual checks of surrounding locations and the customer traffic looks decent. Thankfully the vaccines are working which will make indoor dining a permanent reality even with the delta variant or more that may inevitably arise. Whatever the dividend to start is 2¢, 3¢. 4¢ or more, we are surely heading towards better days.

I don't expect an announcement tomorrow, but perhaps in a couple of weeks when they have a better idea of what the distribution is going to be. I could be completely wrong, though - and of course we have Lembit and co. on board, so that may change the approach and level of communication.
Distirbution levels could be choppy over the next few months - will they flex them to max actual earnings or try and smooth them out? We will have to wait and see, I guess.
