Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:RE:How can everyone be so sure?Drifter, having long long ago filed 10-K's and 10-Q's...I will tell you this would not only create a distraction and add cost but at this point for no value to the enterprise strategy of Baytex. Could this be entertained at some point later sure. They are not looking to raise capital and if you heard from the call they have a great asset inventory and cash to fund the plan.

At this point early in the plan do you want the management team focused on strategy, operations and efficiency....or distracted with a US listing and the work, requirements and costs involved. As a long-term holder my focus priority is debt reduction and shareholder returns through buy back/dividends while growing Clearwater.

Build the story and I would say in 2023 let's talk about that. However this is just my opinion having been through the pain of US requirements. However don't take my word for it call Brian he can certainly detail the complications, time spent and cost for what value? To me its a distraction.
