RE:Dam these hedgefundersI am not ready to blame it on hedgefunders. The management message is that we are undervalued according to revenue metrics compared to peers, but do those metrics take into account revenue growth? Why would a company that is not growing much demand a high multiple? If you do valuation on the negative bottom line.... How many folk on this forum have battled the critics to portray a much better picture? Why do most management and most directors send a message by purchasing company stock? Why aren't Matthews, Linton or Proctor going on a dog and pony show if they believe this is being manipulated? Shorters feast on weaknesses. There are several things on the list that I would blame the SP on before I get down to hedgefunders, and they are all related to company performance and efforts, or lack thereof, to address what they keep calling undervaluation. AGM should be interesting. IMO Matthews should open it with a clear acknowledgement of the failures thus far, an apology to the shareholders who have put their trust in him, and concrete steps that he is putting in place within a short time frame to address all the problems that he should have identified.
