RE:Board IssuesI read Marner's posts and honestly he seems a very balanced individual. We agree to disagree. All of us have opinions, we can't be all on the same page.
His posts are a reflection of the person. Some don't like his long posts. Some don't like that he is an old rich white man. Some are offended by his posts.
Since when is liking / not liking a member a reason to get banned on SH?
What's going on here is just ... insane.

and well researched. He's one of the reasons why I enjoy reading this board. The fact
that others seem to take issue with him is unfortunate and IMO smack more of ego rather
than substance or style. My advice is for the most part is to drop the ego defending nonsense
and focus on content and worth.
SH is a medium to exchange facts, ideas and opinions about stocks. The more focus on those
realities rather than on egos, the better off we all will be. I like learning and understanding
about my investments and this forum is a pretty good place to do that. A good board can provide
valuable free advice from all sorts of experienced investors. Not all will agree but if the discourse
can be kept respectful, it can be a great place to spend time in reading and learning what others
think. Where else can you go to do that? When it degenerates into ego slamming, verbal
insults or threats, it is disappointing and and veers away from what this is supposed to be all
about.
