Does SV work for the shareholders?

How much of the GT patents does the OI have in it? Or is it basically a SV invention? If so, he may feel like not wanting to share the success with current shareholders and is looking for a way to take control and thus all of the profits.

Everytime the sp gets some momentum, mgt seems to want to kill it. Could this be because they want to take it private?

just a nagging concern of mine!
