Pembina Pipeline Corp is a Canada-based energy transportation and midstream service provider. The Company owns pipelines that transport hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas products produced primarily in Western Canada. It also owns gas gathering and processing facilities and an oil and natural gas liquids infrastructure and logistics business. It operates through three segments: Pipelines, Facilities and Marketing & New Ventures. The Pipelines segment provides customers with pipeline transportation, terminalling, and storage in key market hubs in Canada and the United States for crude oil, condensate, natural gas liquids and natural gas. The Facilities segment includes infrastructure that provides Pembina's customers with natural gas, condensate and natural gas liquid (NGL) services. The Marketing & New Ventures segment undertakes value-added commodity marketing activities including buying and selling products, commodity arbitrage, and optimizing storage opportunities.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:i votedthe main consideration for me was tax.  i've held ipl (koch pipelines) since 2002 so there would be a big tax hit if i took the cash and the bipc shares are way overpriced.  the gap between bep.un and bepc was hugely reduced when bepc issued more shares.  taking bipc shares would be tax neutral but i think  they would plummet in value close to bip.un shares if  tons more shares were issued. taking the ppl shares does not result in a taxable event.  i've held ppl since 2003  and also took  ppl shares  when ppl grabbed vsn so i'm going to have ppl shares coming out the ying yang if the deal goes through. 

i also voted yes for my ppl shares.
