NORTHWEST TERRITORIES ( near virgin unexplored lands )I'm sure some have read up on the NWT and found so little info about mining.
Kimberlites and diamonds to the Giant and Con mines - are the notables.
But.... what does a junior do if another peer has engulfed the majority of lands that run from
Yellowknife all the way past Clan lake ?
Why, that junior ( sixty ) should improvise - seek out more lands ( stake ) while the junior mass is stil lfixated on the Golden Triangle -
Would be nice to see sixty aquire more lands while the ( secret is safe )pertaining to NWT being so unexplored and the attractive feature of high grade gold -
What does the nearby peer ( gold terra ) own in lands ?
Everything in blue - lots of lands -

Is it even worth while to compete with gold terra ?
Absolutely.
WHAT IS THE COMMON THEME ?
Where is gold terra fixated ?
I see a definite trend of acquiring all around the former con + giant mines and more importantly around the mouth of the bay right into the bay and south of the bay - yeah, all bases covered and first thing that came to mind was - the first explorer that found really big gold all at the mouth of this bay.
Does one simply say, gold terra took all the good spots or are there similar spots that resemble the GUT / ALLEY ( watershed ) ?
HERE - TAKE A LOOK AT THIS MAP
It will open up at Clan lake - simplr zoom out - till you can see yellowknife and great slave lake.
.- 25 - 30 km east of Yellowknfe one can find another watershed ( former ) it's quite wide -
50km at the mouth of great slave lake where this former water shed ported.
At the belly as one moves northerly - on the left side it swings out / it's quite apparent.
= resistent point.
Macro view - in my own opinion - one can see a fringe perimeter which to me - appears as -
great slave lake once was far larger - a gsharp eye will spot this older former shoreline.
Some say there's no placer gold - it would be interesting to hunt dow nsediment zones where ores and silts did build up ( around choke points ) even current small lakes as trapment basins and see if gold deposited.
Now.. that's a tonne of ore delineated over the years - the trick is finding the zones that have choke points and looking for those older - secondary formations - whereas the diseminated rocks reweleded and created secondary ore bodies - and thart's where one can let their mind run wild - asking the question - can a secondary ore body create its own veining ?
I would answerr yes.
This area is perhaps a quality ( mineral zone ) to scoop.
Looking for choke points where the dediments and GOLD reconsolodated.
