RE:RE:RE:RE:Looks like the .25 cent offersSpoofs are large volumes of shares on either the bid or ask. Lately they have been on the ask. What that does is create a large wall of shares for sale at 25 cents. Investors believe many are selling creating fear and making them want to sell as well. It's called herd instinct. These fearful investors then sell at a low price than the spoof price to get the sale. The spoofers have buyers waiting to scoop up those lower priced shares. That's why it's illegal to spoof but it happens anyway. The only way to punch through the spoofs is to take out all of the spoof shares at 25 cents. Most of the sales were below 25 cents so the spoofing remains. The fact that we can't go higher than 25 cents proves my point. All of this is happening with low volume of shares being traded.
