RE:Now What?Brook has the option to increase their offer before it expires tomorrow.  Based on the bad press today that will sour IPL shareholders, I doubt they will.  But who knows.  All along I Ihave thought they were just trying to force PPL to increase the .5 offer.

If Brook walks, the share price might drop a little bit and then go sideways.

IPL shareholders have the option to turn down PPL.  But it would cost the company 350 million and make a stand alone option less likely.  Looking more like PPL will be the winner.  Brook still wins when they sell their IPL shares.
