RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Nuttal

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NuttalNuvista and baytex were NOT both around 80. Baytex was under 40 at the end of October when Nva was "around 80". So baytex DOUBLED before trading "around 80". I remember because I've owned it since it was "around 30".  From 40 last fall to 2.40 for bte is a 6 bagger. From 30, it's an 8 bagger.  Nva, from 80 to $3.85 is "only" just under a 5 bagger. I'll say it for the hundredth time. It matters less which names you have in your basket of small producers, it matters more that your basket is full.

B) I am not knocking him, he is our main champion for Canadian oil and gas, along with Raffi at Canoe. I own a tonne of Nuvista, so since I saw it leave his top 10 I have been cautiously monitoring it closely. To my surprise it rocketed up!

Nuvista and Baytex were both around 80 cents last Fall, now look at the spread. Baytex will have its day, but Nuvista has outperformed, and will continue to do so.

b) he will be the top cdn equity fund performer @ June 30 . In his category and probably all.

topdown99 wrote: Nuttal isn't God , he is a trader that is paid to move money around , the question is "is he right" ?

I remember reading that Eric sold a bunch of BTE in Jan at a price less than $1 , in March BTE was trading at $1.50 . I like listening to Eric , he understands the business and its economic's but Eric is out for Eric . The fact he still holds 6 million is all I need to know . Point is , money moves for all sorts of reason's , understand why before jumping to conclusions .
