CAR will change mining laws and Axmin will be eliminatedAs per the article below the changes coming in the Central African Republic are being
heavily influenced by the Russians who are completely in bed with the government. The reality
is that the Bangui government will give in to whatever the Russians want in return for the
protection they seek from various rebel groups looking to overthrow them. The Axmin mine, Passendro was one of the first properties to have been handed over to the Russians. After 10
years of not having set foot on this property, it was easy to do. Now since Axmin is looking at
legally challenging this ... what does a government do ? Easy as well .... lets face it ....
governments can easlly change laws to suit themselves .... and in this case along with the
influence of the Russians the mining laws will be changed and the last flicker of hope that Axmin
had will be extinguished. This country is an absolute mess. It is funny because the boileroom
pump squad here a year ago were happy to see the rebel groups under attack ... little did they
understand that it was not the rebel groups who were the enemy of Axmin but it was the
government itself. Next they will be hoping that this government gets overthrown and the rebel
groups will cause chaos. End of the day ... who would want to invest in a decades war torn
country that has zero major mining companies in the entrie country. Axmin is basically bankrupt.
