He is building a stable of pure bred properties in conjunction with Benton. These guys know the geology in Newfoundland better than anyone. There is a wealth of information already known.....soil samples, drilling etc.
The most cost effective approach will be fill in all the gaps survey wise, and turn Gold spot loose.....let them prioritize, punch a few drill holes and move on if unsuccessful, knowing with 85-90% certainty nothing will be found. If geologists have a gut feeling for property, then revisit later. This is the most cost effective way to cover large areas.
Nfld is using this approach, and I agree.
We have a championship racehorse with Moosehead in our stable and are setting up the table for a long history of success.
Best longs, and be a little more patient

I agree with your excellent post and also goldjknf earlier. This latest property was acquired for a specific reason which is not going to be advertised on why. Tim and Benton acquired these several properties based on favorable geology and to get them before others. I believe that to be 100% a fact.

What I see happening later this year and perhaps early next year. I believe as SIC completes its 50K program (we have the bulk of this to go yet including the summer barge drilling on the pond in the eastern trend) including exploration targets, Tim is very confident in new discoveries etc. I expect our stock price to continue to go higher (which it has and no stock GOES UP IN A STRAIGHT LINE), and I expect management to do the largest PP (likely a large bought deal) it has in its history. How? Based on the continued results from Moosehead and exploration potential of all those acquisitions. The early phase results (surveys etc.) from these other properties will be coming in over the weeks/months during this time.

Buyers in a new large PP would love Moosehead as the anchor and expect drilling on one or more of these properties (much sooner than otherwise would happen) to begin in small initial phases (I would want this if I was buying into such a PP).

PS
Since FY 2018 when I invested into this ghost town of a company and board, Tim has always being conservative. He is not an idiot (with major investors like ES hanging over his shoulder) in acquiring these packages using even modest amounts of the company's treasure. There is a big picture game here and 1 year from now SIC will again be a very different company (Tim stated about 1.5 years ago SIC would be a very different company however I do not think even he imagined things would be like this).
