It looks like the USA will for at tleast the 1st few years be a very regulated and protected market with little competion allowed in from foriegn companies. It will probably remain that way until a NAFTA contract covers it, until then only CBD will compete IMO. The lobbying will likely continue as it looks like for now big Alcohol and Tobacco will have reigns pulled back to allow for diversity in the US market, interesting point is I did not see any limits to big pharma on the medical side of the THC market. The MSO's appear to fall in the middle of all this but it looks like they will be able to move products accross the country and even through states that remain illegal, but US is looking like a very protected market for the MSO's until the bugs are worked out.
