Great future!From what you're saying, you would think the price of WTI would be increasing then instead of declining, and investors would be purchasing more shares. Unfortunately though, although oil should be more valuable and worth more when the supplies are lower, for the last week the retail investors are not buying the stocks. Also Institutional investors have still not bought back into the energy sector because of the underperformance of the last few years. I've noticed in the last week that even on days when WTI was up the energy shares could be down. Who knows what will happen in this sector in the foreseeable future. Everything was going great until OPEC Plus messed it up with their in-fighting. The energy sector and energy shares have been choppy since then.
