NT - MINEERAL EXPLORATION OVERVIEW 2017

NT - MINEERAL EXPLORATION OVERVIEW 2017
Here is a gov't overview of all the mining companies in the Northwest Territories.
Annual review of thier work performed.

One can als otype in - NT exploration overview 2018, 2019, 2020

Here is the 2017 -

You;ll want to keep your eyes open for,
Clan mine property
Mon mine
Hangstong property - surrounds Mon mine - sixty is wanting to acqwuire these lands
Discovery mines

Each of the 4 names above -
apply to the current intentions of, sixty north or thei properties.

My own takeaways ?
Discovery mines did work on the Mon  mine.
Drilling was performed - 5 holes - 400m in length
3 holes hit visable gold
A -  Zone was the area in question looking ot hit the vein

Hangstone ( surrounds Mon mine ) has some interesting grades at surface.

Visable gold was seen in the drills - what happens next ?
Sixty cracks a deal, and suddenly wants to mine the Mon Mine.\
Interesting.

Yeah... what were those grade that prompted sixty to push forward and want ot bulk sample or mine the Mon mine ?

i'd like ot know what those 3 holes found in grades and what were the intercepts ?

Another take away is....
Scanning the gold gold miners and explorers in, NT.
The yearly reports are quick reads - some are only 30 or so,  pages.

Analyzing other juniors in the area, makes for an interesting study.
Some only have 1 -2 gram overall grades.
Others run up to 4 grams per tonne.

Historical grades and sampling run far higher ( cherry pickers ) my best guess.
Even Gold Terras grades are far lower - but thier starter pit has - just under 10 g tonne
They're stater pit has a small tonnage vs their overall tonnage with 1-2 gram grades.

HISTORICAL MINERS  ( CON + GIANT )
Had the highest grades - giant being with - 16 grams over all.

So.... will sixty north impress ?
Do they have a richer ore body than other current ecplorers in NT ?
I tihnk - kniwing the drill results of the 3 VG holes would tell lots.
My best guess is.... these holes might have prompted sixty to suddenly run the road of, bulk testing / mining the - Mon.

What did Sixty see in the cores ?
What kind of gold was it ?
Veinijg gold or nuggety ?
Was the gold in the veins argilites, greywackes, volcanics ?

The usual junior path would be to continue drilling.
But... what could have triggered sixty to - spark up bulk sampling - 4,000 - 6,000 tonnes ?

The obvious answer would be... a confidence in the gold.
But.. like any gold junior - proof will be seen in the results.
It's a 50/50 flip of the coin.

Consistency of high grade will be the testiment.
Big boots to fill.

So... time wil lonly tell this story.
I hope sixty does have an indifferent - geology - than their current peers.
A geology that is richer than the norm - 1- 2 grams.
So far.. .their channel samples on the Mon property ( recent ) stil lshoes high grades
right at surface...

And if one refers ot a map - satalite.
There seems to be a convergence point - the macro geology appears to make a V shape
with swirling - whereas, the geology appears to be indifferent than say, Con, Giant, Gold Terra, who apparently worked a fold / shearzone - which makes me wonder if Sixty has something different going on.

CON, GIANT, GOLD TERRA - COMPARISON

Sixty will have to show high grade from the get go to keep the investor interest.
The biggest wonderment of all...?
Could they have a veining system that runs deep ?
Or.. .is this a pinch veining system with limited gold ?
Time will tell...

What i;ve also wondered is....
There is a wack of diamond miners in - NT.
Miners checking the numerous -  carbon deposits.
Carbon deposits that are in - pillar - style depsoits.
Suggesting - volcanic born.

I wil lsay this... Canada needs to perform far more research on volcanos in,
NT, YK, NUNAVUT,
i ALMOST CONVINCED WITH MY OWN RESEARCH
That these 3 territories need far more attention when it comes to understanding the geology.
I wouodn't dismiss the idea of, super low lying cauldron volcano.
Whereas... no cones were formed but remained flat and spread far and wide - the dyke swarm from NT all the way through Quebec and Ontrario would could might explain the workings of a low lying volcano - and a gazzillion lakes that kept it tame.

I wonder if any of these miners have ever come across gold in the carbons ?

In B.C. on the eastern cordillera -
we can see carbon and argilites are a key to finding the gold.
Ref - barkerville.

,

Cheers....
