Shopping online and not physically seeing what you're buying was thought to be ridiculous at one point. Now 75% of the population does it at least once a month. Digital media and streaming was a fairy tale, now it's standard. The first time Interact came out people didn't trust swiping a bank card at a store. Cash was king. How many people are carrying cash these day? Monitoring your health and incorporating that into smart phones is the next step in healthcare IMO. Almost like a suped up Fitbit. It makes sense in a forward thinking manner and working with companies like Abbott is a good sign they're on the right path. It's a new concept and like every other advancement we're presented with the majority of us will be skeptical. But I think in a decade this type of health care companion will be a standard.
