RE:Get a Kick out Of all The Whining

RE:Get a Kick out Of all The WhiningThe thing is, IPL was doing just fine by itself without Brookfield trying to take it over. Yes the dividend was cut, but it was to preserve cash flow for heartland. Heartland is on the verge of starting up and short of a catastrophic failure, the plant would project IPL to $25+ easily with reinstated dividend so with the takeover bids it actually caps the share price because IPL shareholders are at a risk of being bought out at a discount price. Now Pembina offer imo, and just an opinion is a lesser of two evils because of the synergies. At least it was a $55 company before covid so with strong cash flow so the risks of IPL assets being stripped and dumped is fairly small. But hey, your shares your choice.
