M&A From todays M&A report, we get high lites of recent assays "Highlights: • Diamond drilling resumed on the Jewel Ridge property on May 6, 2021, on hole JR-21- 14DD. Drilling has focused on the Eureka Target on the northern portion of the property. • Assays for the first three holes (JR-21-14DD to JR-21-16DD) are expected within 7-10 days and will be reported when available."
I had recently a very enlightening conversation with a renowned geologist friend. I complained that between the time it wa announced that cores had been sent to the lab for assay until the report was released seemed to be a very lengthy process. He laughed and said- "don't complain! Assays routinely have limits on results. At a certain level, there is a SIGNIFICANT high content that qualifies as a MAJOR find. When that happens, the cores are re examined by multiple tests to assure the results are positively proven. This takes significant time and is deliberate so that Market reaction would be justified.as accurate.
He admited that as well if assays are disappointed some times reports will be delayed in hopes that subsequent assays will prove more positive.
But,obviously the GLM delays are positive.
Hope he is right.
