RE:Mgmt fault Agreed. I like miners like gcm, fvi etc because the bosses are latin american. They live and breathe the culture and have the skillset to deal with the local issues. Usually leads to a better outcome. Businesses are made or broken depending on how well you navigate local issues. I used to work for philip morris. They actually had a "black book" that only upper management were allowed to see. In it it had a chapter on every country they did business....how much to bribe local officials, how to deal with unions etc etc. Every country is different especially third world countries. If you dont have a full understanding of the people you are dealing with you can run into roadblocks
