RE:PPL doesn't need IPLIf PPL is interested on continuing to progress on their growth plans, yes they need IPL as it will move them along quickly. Why do you think Brookfield wants them so badly, because they're not worth alot? Does PPL exist with IPl, of course! Does IPL offer them something worthwhile? Obviously! I like both companies and my wish would be would be that IPL continue on it's own and have a chance to allow Heartland to make it one of the most profitable pipelines in Canada. What do I not want? I don't Brookfield within a mile of IPL, to me they are the slimest  of the slime!
PPL is not going to pass on what IPL has to offer, they're not stupid and they wouldn't have put in a bid if it wasn't going to enhance their position. I would seriously question the motive of anyone indicatiing otherwise, wouldn't you? Brookfield aren't the sole controllers of slime, so be careful what you read here!
