RE:Is this 4th wave fear?Might be... but deaths and hospitalization rates are VERY low for the Delta variant.... yes it spreads easier, and even fully vaccinated ppl can get it. But it’s FARR less lethal. Death rates are still declining even as case counts climb.... and we havnt seen that yet. So while more infectious, Delta is way less lethal. Studies have found its on par with getting a cold.

TPTB might try another lockdown, but there’s not much public support for one anymore. Especially when it’s been 15 months since the 1st. And when the effects of this variant are no worse than a cold. 

So no, I think govts are gonna have a real hard time getting the public appetite for another lockdown against delta.

If that’s the reason for the sell-off in oil and oil equties, then it’s unwarranted.
