RE:RE:RE:The Break Fee

RE:RE:RE:The Break FeePPL's news release was after close Friday.  I don't see how the price is dropping significantly because of that.  More likely that the sellers were expecting PPL to raise their bid by offering more shares.  Like BIPC dropped 5% upon Brookfield's latest enhancement offering .25 of a BIPC share instead of .225

Brookfield has the higher "headline" number.  Our board may not see it as the superior bid.  PPL continues to call the deal "extremely compelling from an immediate and long-term value perspective".  Brookfield's cash offer does not have long-term value at all unless the recipient can find somewhere to invest it.  PPL shares come with a better dividend than BIPC.

As usual, our board is waiting for Brookfield to formally file before saying anything.  Brookfield has said they will file no later than July 19.

You said the board should now negotiate with Brookfield. I clearly pointed out that the IPL board made position regarding the merger perfectly clear with the break fee.

Who said anything about board positions for IPL members?

Once again, what the F**K are you smoking.............it's the weekend, please share.

Settle down my friend. I recognize that on June 3, you boasted about selling all your IPL stock for $20.04 and using the proceeds to buy PPL.  Now that Brookfield has the superior bid, IPL stock price closed at $20.94.  With PPL now on the sidelines, the stock price is dropping significantly. Occasionally, things don't work out as planned.
