RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I was actually impress I havent sold a single share. Just bought with my tiny money. I bought sgy, obe and bte at recent high. But somehow I am not worried, though I have been grumpy the whole day/week to be honest..could not apply myself at work. but then I count my blessings and the feeling passes away...

Investment percentage gain/loss = Price Sold (or current price in this case) -  Price bought (52 week high in this case)/ Price bought (52 week high)

x 100

But yeah, hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Thank god, I cashed out of most of my OBE last week. That stock is a momentum traders dream, with 74m shares outstanding... the volatility on that one is insane. Basically ran 150% from end of may to early july...then crashed 37% with the oil price correction

Nothingmatters wrote: I was actually calculating the gain required to cover up the loss ...that's brutal but soon will be behind us. Oil is only going in one direction that is up...
Nothingmatters wrote: You are dividing by a higher denominator. I divided by the price they are now. For example Ath .25.75X100 =around 33%
