I don't think the last part is true. During last discord Marshall got asked if they would buy ScreenPro and he answered that he cannot discuss that kind of information but that if they acquire it, we will know in a news release along with everyone else.

I would dare say DM cannot perform testing, but they can own a subsidiary who does. (I may very well be wrong, just saying)
