RE:Some fun stuff"... comments about lack of qualified miners that appears on this board ..."
The funny thing is that in previous negotiations and agreements the push was to employ x number of locals i.e. Yukon residents ... do they not wish to be trained and work? Is it really necessary to advertise for non-residents with experience to come and work there? Isn't there some percentage of locals that don't need years of experience but can be trained? What is experience anyway, except knowlege learned on the job, and especially learned in a specific work environment? If it's difficult to recruit in the summer, what's it going to be like in the winter?
So many questions. And yes, the 'proof of production' throughput date for Wheaton is 12/31/21. But they have been very patient so far, because of the low prices of silver.
Discl: I am a shareholder, frequently off and on, and have been from the beginning (AXR), and even before the beginning (new UKH), of Alexco. That's why I refer to it occasionally as the Never Ending Story.
And 'news' about drilling results - fine - but the area is described as a 'silver mountain' for a reason. Just mine it. And the tailings - 10MM tons of it.
