The Mangazeya Group of Companies has put into operation the Nasedkino deposit in the Mogochinsky District of the Trans-Baikal Territory, which will allow the company to become the 15th largest gold mining company in Russia, the company said.
The Nasedkino mining and processing plant was built in a short time - only three years passed from the moment of obtaining permission for the construction of the plant and before the official launch, the company said. At the end of 2020, the enterprise was operating in the commissioning mode. "At the moment, it can already be safely operated in accordance with the regulations and design documentation approved by Glavgosexpertiza," the message says.
Nasedkino's reaching the design capacity of 1 million tonnes of ore per year with more than 90% recovery will ensure the production of up to 2.5 tonnes of gold per year. The deposit includes four sections. Proven reserves amount to 23.9 tons of gold. The gold content in the ore is from 1.4 to 2.9 g / t.
General Director of Mangazeya Zoloto Mikhail Gusev noted that the commissioning of Nasedkino is of strategic importance for the company and opens up serious prospects for the gold mining business of the entire group.
The license for geological exploration, prospecting and evaluation of minerals at the Nasedkino deposit belongs to the Daltsvetmet LLC company, which is part of the Mangazeya Group of Companies.
Recall that the Nasedkino deposit, located in the Mogochinsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, is one of the flagship projects of the Zabaikalye ASEZ, the main investment asset of the Mangazeya group. The total investment in the development of the field exceeds RUB 13.6 billion.
Mangazeya Mining Ltd is a company listed on the NEX Board (of TSX Venture Exchange, Toronto). The company owns all the enterprises of the gold mining division of the Mangazeya group, which conduct gold mining and exploration in the Trans-Baikal Territory, including the managing company Mangazeya Zoloto LLC.
