They loaned their own relatives $3 MILLION, told investorsit was for building a greenhouse, then told investors they were making progress on the greenhouse, turns out there were NO GREENHOUSES, and now the $ 3 MILLION appears to be missing ...

LOL ... I'm no lawyer but I'd say that is a tad more serious than "questionable use of finances".
