Re:the clowns do their business legal illegal don't give a sE. the vast majority of local residents support Oceana; Oceana is a major employer and the community has benefitted in many ways. Governor Padilla, we must again be reminded because there's always new people who need to know, Padilla was taken by the nose to El Salvadora a failed socialist state (check the crime rates) to witness legistlation ending precious metals mining there. Of course he came home with stars in his eyes, indoctrinated to believe that he could pull the same stunt off in the Philippines. But, Covid put the blocks to that, now money--or as some say economic renewal--talks louder, dominates the shrill cries of far left socialist Marxist environmentalism. Duterte has spoken and the people will roll up their sleeves and get back to work. They have a good size stockpile to begin with and Mr. Benson is up to the task of bringing things up to speed sooner than the very conservative conjecture of 12 months timeline. There will be protests and I hope as we all do that nobody gets hurt. IMO
