RE:RE:Core samples - Chrysos Ike,
I agree with you - when proven, this tech could change the entire industry. That being said, you can appreciate why the boys at Chrysos are taking it slow - and being cautious (because if they screw up early, it will take years to regain market confidence). There is just too much money - and too much expectation involved - to risk going off half-cocked. I commend them for this.
Quinton did say that the process does not (yet) work well with diesel-generated power - so the samples are sent from Pilbara to Perth Labs (where he has dibs on two machines) for assay. Seems roundabout - but his early support is helping Chrysos to define and refine the units - to the point that it will be the gamechanger that we think it will be. I did ask them if they had shares available (in for a penny...in for a pound...I'm interested!) - they were very nice and mentioned an upcoming IPO (no dates or word back yet).
Now NFG (and it would seem, most other Newfoundland explorers) have the benefit of grid power - so not the same logistical problem as Pilbara BUT we are halfway around the world...so everyone will want the process bullet-proof before committing...these are not cheap machines - and the companies that will rely on the data must have total confidence.
Hope this helps,
El D
