I would rather have profits of 50 cents per share per quarter than profits of 20 cents per share and a one time big write up that gets forgotten the next day. This stock needs a drum beat of higher earnings and higher FCF, lower debt and stable production to impress investors. If they do decide to make a write up for debt purposes, do it at year end when the reserves evaluations are being done.
