RE:Interesting I believe it is a pretty standard premed for chemo, in particular for taxol or Carboplatin. My wife has to take two of the hexagon shaped tablets 1 hour before chemo, then 2 more the next day, and 2 more the day after that. She done this for all of her 18 cycles so far. The oncologist told us it is to avoid an allergic reaction from the chemo.
