RE:Smiling
Yeah, I don't get why people get upset, sometimes even angry (towards whom?? how in the world has anyone *wronged* you?!?!?!?) when it is trading down or sideways? I can understand disappointed if this quarter it turned out Illumin lost 3 clients and revenue growth was 5% lol, since that is really bad news; still don't understand angry though.
I digress, what a treat to actually have an opportunity to have the time to build out a position gradually into the size you want it/are comfortable having it. 2020 it was basically impossible. I quickly found myself trying to keep up tabs with an overwhelming amount of companies because as soon as I concentrated my portfolio slightly, I over-diversified it beyond the scope of my multi-tasking DD willingness or time allowance. Why? Well, because everytime you invested in something, it was up 35%, 55%, 190% within a week to a few weeks later like clockwork. It's a good problem to have, but sure doesn't allow you to scale into positions, or keep buying as you gradually continue to accumulate income to buy stocks with. So it forces you to look to other stocks, if nothing is looking appealing or is in the midst of going parabolic.
