I'm pretty sure you are correct that Rob McEwen owns about 7% of NFG. I have only heard of him possibly wanting to sell his position in NFG here on this bullboard so I'm not sure if it's true or not. It does make sense since he has clearly made a lot of money on NFG and apparently he wants to finance some copper play in South America. Personally I would not sell a high quality gold asset like NFG in mining friendly Canada to finance anything in South America. Governments down there change the rules of the game to often for my liking. Just my 2 cents worth.
All I know is that NFG continues to hit high grade visible gold in a lot of drill holes on the Queensway North property and just not near the zones that have been released to the market. It seems the JBP Fault has something really nice to offer NFG shareholders as well. I guess we will know for sure just how good in 4 to 6 weeks depending on the assay labs.
We have nothing to worry about with our NFG investment. We just need a little patience and by September we should be seeing new all time highs again. The Golden Valley will continue to shine for months and years from now and most likely continue to deliver for decades as drilling goes much deeper to find the source of all this high grade gold. Buy buy buy and watch your net worth go up up and away. Still early days for the Queensway discovery. Just like guys are saying today they wish they had bought at $2 $4 $6 and so on. This time next year they will be saying I should have bought more at $10 $15 and $20 because NFG has discovered one of the best high grade gold discoveries on the planet that will become a major cash cow for NFG shareholders just like Fosterville did for Kirkland Lake KL shareholders.
