RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Oh the dramaOi ... here we go again, pay attention this time please.
You keep saying charts are 100% backward looking. That's what I said, so what's your point.
You keep saying that "Telling me what WAS does NOTHING to tell me what will be...or even might be." Yet you use current fundamental data to predict what you believe will happen in the future BASED ON HOW THAT DATA HAS AFFECTED INVESTMENTS IN THE PAST... so you can "tell me what will be, or even what might be" based on the past because your tarrot cards are better than mine?
You ask me to tell you what sentiment will be like tomorrow; I didn't say I could or should. In fact, I said that is NOT what TA tells you.
So far, you still refuse to tell me what the fundamentals will be tomorrow or next week or next year.. all you can tell me is what has been and what is (actually, all you can tell me is the limited information YOU can access regarding what has been and what it).
Why is it that you refuse to commit to predicting the future based on fundamentals; yet you dismiss TA because it can't predict the future? You ask for TA to commit to exactitudes, yet you claim fundamentals only give you a balance of likelihoods, and you're comfortable investing with that ambiguity.

Simple question, DO YOU BELIEVE BUYING/SELLING DECISIONS ARE DIRECTLY TIED ON SENTIMENT ABOUT FUNDAMENTALS, OR ARE THEY DIRECTLY TIED TO FUNDAMENTALS THEMSELVES?

Presuming that you will stick to what you previously stated, that SENTIMENT is the direct link to price action, let me ask another question: DO YOU THINK THAT CHANGES IN SENTIMENT STAY STATIC UNLESS ACTED UPON BY FUNDAMENTAL CHANGES? I presume, being a victim of confirmation bias yourself, you will agree that people tend to stick to their position and choices unless the factors they deem relevant change.

Presuming that sentiment tends to stay static, we can presume that price action is actually a reflection of underlying changes in MYRIAD of fundamentals as interpreted by the ENTIRE market. DO YOU THINK THE ENTIRE MARKET IS USING THE SAME SET OF FUNDAMENTALS, AND THE SAME WEIGHTING OF CONSIDERATION AS YOU DO, TO MAKE INVESTMENT DECISIONS?

Presuming you do not actually believe that everyone thinks like you do (after all, there a thousands of us primates in the market too), WHY DO YOU TRUST YOUR LIMITED SET OF FUNDAMENTALS TO MAKE INVESTMENT DECISIONS?

Suggestion, WHY NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE ENTIRE MARKET AS A WHOLE IS TELLING YOU ABOUT THEIR ASSESSMENT OF THE ENTIRE BODY OF FUNDAMENTALS OVER TIME AND AT ANY GIVEN POINT IN TIME? After all, the price of your investment is NOT establish by your assessment, but by the assessment of the ENTIRE market together.
