RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Oh the dramaBECAUSE! Whatever the "market" is telling me now IS NOT what it will be saying a year from now. Hello? Now for the last time you pay attention...
1. YOU CANNOT MEASURE SENTIMENT
2. WHATEVER SENTIMENT IS NOW IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME TOMORROW
3. WHATEVER SENTIMENT WAS IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME TOMORROW
So even if you can measure past sentiment (charts and squiggly lines) OR present sentiment (current price of something) YOU CANNOT use this information to predict ANYTHING about the future
CASE CLOSED
THE BEST anyone can do is to model what sentiment about some particular thing MIGHT be and the ONLY way to do that is to estimate future events, situations, etc based upon FACTUAL evidence such as I've listed...demographics, EV movement...BIG tectonic glacial changes that affect everything one way or the other. That in no way guarantees anything but it gives your decisions grounding and a rationale.
You telling me that $4.60 is meangful is pure nonsense. It will not be $4.60 today or tomorrow or next week or next year...it meant nothing, means nothing, tells you nothing, predicts nothing and is totally unactionable in any way
