Jim Rodgers

Jim RodgersI spoke with Mr. Rodgers today and he told me basically the same information. He is a corporate lawyer from the west coast who has been hired by Drake as an interim manager. He has also been asked to make an assessment of the company as to its future viability. Overall he seemed pretty positive when asked about the future of the company. However he did admit that Drake is concerned about their investment, but added that NOVA2 works extremely well and needs to be marketed successfully in order for any future growth to take place. He did mention that Drake was very open to the idea of a partner to share the costs, and was also examining that possibility. As to a new CEO, he reiterated that this new President must be someone with a great deal of marketing and promotional savvy. Also he didn't mention whether the search for a new CEO was completed or not. He did state, however, that an announcement would be made when they were ready to release that information. After I spoke to him I kept thinking to myself," Why wasn't a deal struck last summer with a marketing and promotional firm?" If this is their number one stumbling block, then why wasn't a deal consummated last summer when Mr. McInnes recommended it? Mr. McInnes tried desperately to outsource the marketing of NOVA but the deal was never done. I wonder why???? Did Drake stop him or was it too expensive?? Hindsight... a wonderful thing, isn't it? Anyways that's all I can say for the moment. It looks as if the Bids are building, so that looks positive. If anyone else cares to call him, please do so. Toll free 1-800-465-3641.
