I'm not really that good at playing the market if you look at my track record. I've lost more than I've gained over that period so as well as some of my posts have been rated I really don't deserve it. I'm not a guy to follow toward riches. However, until recently I've mostly played the venture mining exploration stocks which are looking for an economic deposit of mineral X so its hit and miss in that market, mostly miss. To be clear however, some of the exploration stocks that I followed/tracked but didn't invest in and recommended to friends were relatively successful. Lesson learned: invest in what I recommend not what I invest in. I once saw a diamong exploration stock in about 2010 (V.GEM) that I was following but had not yet invested in, unexpectedly hit coal in Saskatchewan and go from 20 cents to $20 in a couple weeks. Many new millionares were made over that period while I sat on the sidelines looking in.
I exited the market some time ago and then re-entered after I retired about a year ago. That accounts for my relatively low Stockhouse ranking (500-600). I was much higher (in a different ranking system) back in the day. I'm now looking for that one stock that will erase all those losses of the past and I think I've found it here with HPQ.
I'm sharing one person's thoughts on the market and this stock in particular when I say that maybe, just maybe I'll hold off buying more of HPQ until the end of the summer to early September. Maybe we will hit 35 cents. I wouldn't think that possible buy hey, I've been wrong with HPQ many times in the past.
With HPQ I've not only recommended it to familiy and friends but also invested in it as well having accumulated about 72,000 shares thus far. I'm throwing a dart at a bulletin board full of potential winfalls and losses but somethng tells me I've hit a winner here in spite of the current SP and my current loss position. Maybe my luck with the market will improve in the next 6 months and my historical losses will be swept away in one swoop. I'm betting now that it will.
One small guy's thoughts.

Fumed silica is not going to bring a whole lot of revenue.
No production in sight yet.
If we have the technology, Bernard cannot farm it out to a third party.
It would be like letting your neighbor borrowing your best ideas and testing them.
Bernard needs to change his mind frame from stock promoter to Producer/manufacturer.
