RE:Bitcoin vs. Gold…Goldman’s x-executive lol so in two articles we have folks connected to Goldman saying "Bitcoin Bad" and "Bitcoin Good." Sounds like they are working in two different areas of Goldman - investing and trading. But this one did make a strong point that Bitcoin has absolutely no track record during high inflation or bad deflation. We have no idea how it will perform. It may do well because people abandon all of the other cryptocurrencies, for example, and become a store of value for the crypto asset class. Or it could tank along with many other asset classes.
