Looking at some data Urbanimmesive Gross Merchant Volume (GMV) and USA new listings trends are pretty similar. For the months of May and June 2021, there was an uptick in new listings (731,085 in May and 776,291 in June), however gross merchant volume has been trending downwards (May $1,170,000, June $910,000 and July $843,000). If you copy paste the data and create a graph you will see an imperfect correlation between GMV and new listings.
The other intriguing data is the median days on market. It has been declining since 2012. For the month of June 2021, the median days on the market was estimated at 14 days by Redfin and at 37 days by Realtor.com. Given the short time frame, it is possible that some real estate brokers have decided not to use the services of a real estate photographer. Only ±35% of agents employ professional photographers.
UI now has four segments generating revenues. Immersolution, SAAS revenues (Tourbuzz), real estate photo agencies (REPA) and licensing (two police and one fire department). In all likelihood, UI is searching to add REPAs to its existing roster, hopefully, they will be located in the USA.
