RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Incredulous..OVV is still cheap here. I have owned it for a long time. I owned it as PanCanadian Energy and then Encana and now OVV. I made a lot of money long ago and then again as it ramped from 2003 to 2008 and I took some profits then. I lost real money on what I kept as it tanked from 2008 to 2012 and then was stagnant for 8 more years. I lived through a 1:5 reverse split. At that point it just felt way too late to sell it. But most of March 2020 the post split shares were trading at $2.25 to $2.50. Way too cheap unless they were going BK, which they were not. I bought quite a few shares then, took some profits a few months ago, but still own a lot. As you say life is an amusement park. And stocks are the roller coaster, certainly OVV at least. I think could be worth $40 in 2-3 years.
Even though they have a big Permian operation in Texas the HQ is in Denver. I like getting the dividends without paying foreign tax.
