RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:FYI -- Jul 27 2021 Final short form prospectus -- SEDARBoy oh boy...we should all be smoking what you are!
This is an early stage exploration play...how do they fund it? Why, my goodness, they release more shares! This is what funds the here and now for most drillcos - unavoidable but necessary, dilution...and sometimes a few companies are even successful! Ultimately...just about the time of sale / or change of use (goodbye retail explore investors...hello retail - and institutional - production investors)...there is a reverse split (so, for example, 10 of your current shares for 1 new share)...this clears the decks of the great unwashed (us) who are generally way too cheap to suddenly pay 10x the price of a few days ago. It's how you change horses.
I have been through this more than a few times over the years...and I used to gnaw at my arm above the elbow to get out of this fox trap...until I realized that this seems to be how it's done...and relaxed a bit (as I continued to earn money). I am, like you, not an economist, but I have learned that some paths are more prudent than others...and your idea of the split the other way was popular decades ago...and look where it got those miners! Your idea is so short-sighted...given the reality of how explore juniors get the bucks to explore!
As Mark Twain said - I am less concerned with the return on my money than the return OF my money.
Sorry, Dia, I read your stuff...but this post is absolutely daft!
