RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Analysts view on ALAGood response Bossu. I am also a cheap no frills investor type who shuns subcriptions yet has
a pretty decent size portfolio. That said, I don't feel deprived as our local library carries all the
big newspapers In Canada plus 2 from the US including Barrons. I've found that utilizing these sources, plus the internet pretty well gives me what I need to know. Being retired, I enjoy going
to our local library and sitting down in a nice cozy chair to read these papers on a regular basis.
Its become a ritual that I look forward to and it keeps me pretty well in the loop.
Along these lines I have to say, the stock boards also provide plenty of usefull information if you
just ignore the BS. I'm not lazy with my investments but I admit I'm cheap on information that I have to pay for. I have made quite a bit of money from following up on stuff that fellow investors
have mentioned in passing. Thats where the value of these boards can pay off so my combined
tv, phone and internet bill covers a lot of bases. Being cheap doesn't mean one has to be stupid
or deprived, but one has to be creative at times to get access to information.
