RE:RE:RE:The Trump Corruption Contagion. (TCC)The reason I thought this was important is because if an investigation begins in another country without the ability of the GOP to stonewall and cover up (despicable behavior occurring now), it would seem to open Trump up to more immediate scrutiny.

Actually, there are multiple reasons including envy.  In Dec. 1963 I recall speaking with college students at a French ski resort who roundly criticized the American people for assassinating our president.   I was amazed by this and recalled for them the three attempts on DE Gaul’s life THAT FAILED!
 
In regard to the Canadian hate speech that Patchh posted, it occurred to me that America’s faults and failures are mostly the result of universal human nature, and the opportunities this nation has had on the international stage to influence others is a result of our good fortune of having a continent of resources at hand.  IMO it is not due to any particular callousness in the American spirit.   Taking advantage of weaker populations was after all a standard practice inherited after centuries of European Imperial colonization.
