RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Phone Call Thanks FOMO and A!
My Grandma - when she was alive, bless be her soul - used to buy all sorts of 'stuff' from old TV stars who would pedal items via infomercial to the retired folks her age... and now my Dad in his 70's believes certain politicians his age have his back in his retirement years because they are more relatable, and almost all his research is done online... I bet you he'd be convinced to go Solar if I showed him that Shatner online-fomercial! lol... but hell if it's an idea from someone half his age... than again, he also believes the 'his' guy at the bank branch he goes to, who setup his investments is working for him.
my point is people like to be reaffirmed in their ideas/decisions by relatable figures, so I understand "the play", although the execution and choice of influencer could be refined.

Given the age range of that demographic, and them being the ones with "savings", it's a hard guess as to who would have been better. Does that age bracket even put attention to online media and/or influencers with celebrity status? And by influencers, I mean the type of online influencer. Of course every generation has their role models etc., however, would plugging an older "influencer" to an older generation, online, be a smart play?
