Here is Some  REAL HISTORY

Every Summer as a TeenAger in the 60s I Worked with My FATHER Who Was Supporting Us as an Independant House Builder__no more than 2 Houses a YEAR

So We had ALWAYS had STELCO Nails but Some Time in the mid 60s Our Lumber Yard stared shipping out TREE ISLAND Nails__and THEY were NOTICEABLY Worse than the STELCO Nails__BENT Really EASY so Must have been MADE from CHEAPER STEEL ????
