From The TD Comments re Ballard

From The TD Comments re Ballard Backlog Hits Inflection Point, Revenue to Follow: The Company's backlog increased to $113.3 million, up slightly from $112.0 million in Q1/21 and was above our estimate of $108.8 million as a result of higher-than-expected new orders in the quarter ($26.1 million vs. our estimate of $19.4 million). This (albeit small) increase ends a seven-quarter streak in sequential backlog decreases.

Inflection point?

This analyst seems to be predicating his rosy outlook for Ballard, at least to some extent, on Ballard's first-in-8 quarters of increased backlog.
Ballard's backlog was up $1.3 million to $113,3 million.

Xebec reported a backlog of $85.5 million in the first quarter.

What do you think Xebec's recent order for a minimum of 18 biostream units
is going to do for their backlog?

This order is worth a minimum $27 million, not to mention ongoing servicing contracts.

MONTREAL, July 06, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xebec Adsorption Inc. (TSX: XBC) (“Xebec”), a global provider of clean energy solutions, is pleased to announce today that it has signed a Master Service Agreement (“MSA”) with a leading U.S.-based renewable natural gas (“RNG”) dairy farm project developer for the purchase of BGX Biostream™ (“Biostream”) units. The MSA will support the order of an initial 18 units, with the potential for additional orders under the same service agreement. This agreement represents the single largest unit order the company has received to date for Biostream and the largest in number of systems ever awarded in North America for dairy farm biogas upgrading projects.
