AmazonAmazon denies these initiatives and products are in active development, though (via Bloomberg) a spokesperson said that Amazon is considering such a move in the future. “We’re inspired by the innovation happening in the cryptocurrency space and are exploring what this could look like on Amazon. We believe the future will be built on new technologies that enable modern, fast, and inexpensive payments, and hope to bring that future to Amazon customers as soon as possible,” the company said. The concept of cryptocurrency payments on Amazon is a potential game-changer, but anyone wanting to take the most advantage of the initiative will need to be in a knowledgeable position when the time comes.
