Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd. is a Canada-based oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the exploration of the Damara Fold Belt and Kavango Rift Basin in the Kalahari Desert of northeastern Namibia and northwestern Botswana. The Company holds interest in a petroleum exploration license no. 0073 (PEL 73) in northeast Namibia and an interest in petroleum exploration rights in northwest Botswana over the Kavango Sedimentary Basin. The Company's exploration license covers an area of approximately 25,341.33 square kilometers (km2) (6.3 million acres) of oil and/or gas exploration properties comprising Blocks 1719, 1720, 1721, 1819, 1820 and 1821 situated in the Kavango Basin of northeast Namibia (the Namibia Licensed Property) and approximately 7,592 km2 (1.88 million acres) in Botswana (the Botswana Licensed Property). The two licenses together comprise over 32,933 km2 (8 million acres).

RE:Will Bill Cathey WITHDRAW his conclusions??? I think you are jumping to conclusions. We really dont know the depth of the basin. Just because they drilled to 7500 ft. in one area does not mean that is the total depth which has you concluding this to be a shallow basin. We cant really conclude anything now other than they drillled to the 7500 ft. Grayson says there was no need to drill farther because they found what they wanted in the depth they drilled to even though they said they were drilling to 12000.

After all they have something like 8M sq.km and this drilled area is miniscule and the basin probably has areas up to 30000ft. I can't see Cathey deliberately lying about itt depth in areas The final figures will be in when seismic tests have been run and will determine the final depth. People like you are trying to second guess and debunk based on really no fact. We don't even have an average depth at this point- who know maybee we have the shallow point
