Imperial Minings' FutureSo last week I finished by DD on IPG. As a result, I decided to take a significant position in IPG as I think it owns a very valuable piece of property, going forward.
Beliefs:
The electrication of the world and the eventual elimination of coal and oil based fuel will become entrentched in our daily lives. I think Nat Gas will become intricate to this transition to electric as it is widely accepted as a clean burning fuel. Of equal importance will be the lightweighting of planes, trains and automobiles. Electric bikes will become common place Imagine for a moment if you drop the weight of a car by 30%. Would you get a corrisponding drop in fuel consumption?
Scandium
Scandium deposits in North America are to my knowledge very rare. Today the overwhelming fact is that China controls the majority of Scandium deposits in the world. If IPG can prove up an economical deposit of Scandium then North America will not be buying from China. Buying from NA suppliers (IPG) will also reduce the carbon footprint as a result of eliminting overseas shipping costs. It becomes a no brainer business decision.
Peter Cachin
I met Mr. Cachin at the last in person PDAC show. Just before the March 17th COVID 19 lock down. He had a compelling story then and still does. He impressed me as a passionate and enthusiastic Mining Proffessional with an excellent knowledge of the Scandium marketplace. Peter treats his employees and shareholders with respect. Bottom line is I was impressed with Mr. Cashin.
Conclusions:
IPG owns a strategic metal deposit in one of the best mining districts in the world, in Quebec Canada. I think that IPG owns a piece of the future and I have a piece of IPG.
